Chapter 1 Introduction
ZXB07.001 is a low duty power supply with AC/DC multiple outputs. Due to the latest circuit design, it is compact and of reliable performance. The whole system is of high regulation and output efficiency. The wide input voltage applicable to rural power network. The product is equipped with protection against output over-current, short circuit, protection, output over-voltage and over-temperature. The product is cooled by natural convection. It is designed according to the safety regulations, which strictly conforms to the safety standard of information technology.

Remark:
  1. After operation under low temperature for 1 hour, the ripple (p-p) shall be measured with 1 10uF aluminum capacitor and 1 0.1uF filmy capacitor at output. The twisted pair is 20cm and within 20MHz bandwidth of oscillograph. There shall be no battery and backup power during the test.
  2. The system output current is 1.6A including the charge current (1A) under voltage of -54V. There shall be no battery and backup power during the test.
  3. -54V output shall be adjustable within -45~-54 under equalizing charge or discharge of battery.

  • Battery management
Dual outputs are provided at battery interface for battery operation and -48V backup power input (Battery/backup power -48V common power point: -48VRTN/BAT+, -48V backup power, BAT-). Connect only the battery if there is only 220Vac input and connect the backup power when fed by both 220Vac and backup power. Two diodes are employed for isolation of -48V backup and -48V voltage transferred from 220ac.

Note: There shall be only green LED on for normal power supply form AC input and -48V backup. Other parameters are measured without backup power.

The -54V and 3.4V outputs will be powered by battery under situation of AC mains failure and the normal operation duration under full configuration shall be not less than 4 hours. 
The system is functioned with secondary shutdown, however, the battery load is controlled by main devices. 48V lead acid battery is adopted for backup and the discharge is managed by system. Current limiting shall be conducted during battery charge, the ultimate charge current shall be 1A.
